The International Adoption Clinic at Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins Children’s Center provides coordinated pre and post adoption services for families adopting internationally or domestically, designed to complement a child’s primary care provider. Services include pre adoption medical and video review, country specific health guidance, travel medicine referrals and a medical travel kit, plus post adoption developmental and medical assessments, lab work and immunizations as needed, referrals to subspecialists, and ongoing coordination with the child’s primary provider through a multidisciplinary team.
