About Us
Adopted Between Worlds is not the work of one person alone. It is the result of many hands and hearts.
From the beginning, Luna has been more than a partner. Her belief in this story, her work to raise the first funds, and her courage in living Journey Two alongside me have made this book possible. Together, we’ve carried the conviction that adoption stories deserve to be told with honesty and compassion.
I write under the pen name Atticus Galán Scholl, and this memoir has been brought to life in close collaboration with a gifted ghostwriter who helped shape my voice and experiences into a story that could resonate with others. Alongside Luna’s partnership, the work of our illustrator has given visual life to this project, deepening the way these journeys can be seen and shared.
This project is also built on the voices of those I interviewed, the support of friends and family who encouraged me to tell the story, and the wider community that carried me through both journeys.
In truth, Adopted Between Worlds belongs not only to me, but to everyone who offered their time, creativity, and heart to help bring it into the world.

Adopted Between Worlds

The Ghostwriter
Every story needs a careful listener. My ghostwriter helped transform my lived experiences into words that could carry both truth and emotion, honoring the complexities of adoption and identity. This book would not exist in its current form without their craft and care.
